About Me

I obtained a Fine Art Certificate from the University of Alberta Faculty of Extension and a Photography Certificate from The New York Institute of Photography.

My creative interests include human figures, animals, flowers, and landscapes.  Many great subjects are waiting to be photographed and painted everywhere and every day.  

Artist Statement

 Painting and photography are keys to unlocking a deeper connection with nature and our surroundings. I strive to create a visual body of work that unveils a hidden world we often overlook daily. Each stroke of my brush or palette knife and the click of my camera promises to reveal something even more captivating, something expressive that will make you see the world in a new light.  In photography and painting, I see the subject  as "what is." I see a scene with something special about it, uniqueness or beauty that asks to be captured and shared.
